We are a group of people who share an interest in all things to do with patchwork and quilting; making, collecting and their history.
We meet the first Thursday of every month except January and August, at Walton Community Centre, Whitemill Lane, Stone, Staffs, ST15 0EQ at 6.45pm for a 7.15pm start. (we occasionally have to relocate when elections take place as the hall is used by voters – please check the web site for any updates)
There is ample parking next to the centre and disabled access.
No membership is required. Admission for 2016 is still only £4.00. Just pay at the door and come in and enjoy a cuppa and biscuit (it’s a good idea to bring your own mug), show and tell, plenty of chat, and the evening’s speaker or activity. If you feel lucky have a go at the raffle which is drawn on the night.
We usually run at one or two workshops during the year, and our Soup and Sew days are proving popular, bookings are taken at the monthly meetings (a deposit is required to secure your place). We also arrange occasional coach trips to shows like Quilts UK at Malvern. We have also been volunteering as ” Quilt Angels” at our closest national show – The British Quilt & Stitch Village, held at the Uttoxeter Racecourse, usually towards the end of April.
We hope you take a few moments to browse through these pages and that we will see you at one of our meetings.
We hope to see you soon!
